Placing A Cat
We are currently at maximum capacity, with both our shelter and quaratine areas full. Sadly, we must turn away 200-300 requests a month to take in a cat. We are a private, non-profit group, and do not receive any government money. Please do not leave your cat on our property -- in addition to being a felony in the state of Arizona, abandoning your cat here places the cats we currently have in jeopardy, and puts that individual cat at risk.
We do not have a waiting list. When we have had sufficient adoptions that we can take in more cats, we will update this notice.
Below are three links with information we have put together to help you. The first is a list of other Tucson-area cat rescue groups. Please remember that each of these groups is an independent, non-profit organization, and may have different rules, procedures and abilities.
The second flier contains tips on how to find a home for your cat yourself, and includes questions to ask to make certain the home is a good one.
The third link contains information on trap-neuter-release programs and local contacts for feral cats.
